I've blogged about organ donation a few times over the last couple years. Different stories that have touched our hearts, but one very close was that of my brother in law and having donated his kidney to his best friend and saving his life!
Last week he won the Shira Inspira award through the Kidney Stories of Hope campaign. From that he was given the opportunity to become the organizer for the Fraser Valley Kidney Walk this summer August 12th at Bear Creek Park in Surrey.
He was interviewed by the Surrey Leader, visit the following to hear his story

Once again I want to stress the importance of becoming an organ donor...not everyone can be a living donor. But everyone can go online and sign up to be an organ donor when they pass away. What better thing to give, than the gift of life.
On a side note, Helene Campbell recently received a lung donation and is doing well.
