Yesterday was seen as a victory, as news of Osama Bin Laden's death was spread around the world. Unfortunately, it is a bittersweet victory as you reflect on all the lives lost not only on that horrific day Sept.11, 2001, but all those that lost their lives fighting to find and capture Osama Bin Laden. May they all rest in peace....

Happy Vaisaki from the Bettina Reid Group, what a beautiful day it was here in Surrey for the Vaisakhi parade. Looks like they had over 150,000 people attend. The Vaisakhi parade celebrates the birth of the Sikh religion and the begining of the annual harvest. Our parade here in Surrey is one of the largest Vaisakhi parades in all of Canada. Once again Happy Vaisakhi!!!

I always enjoy a good #book to read and unfortunately don't get a chance to read enough lately. But I did finally finish reading "The Book of Negroes". Lawrence Hill recreates such a dark time in history and the fictional story follows the life of his main character #Aminata. The Book of Negroes catches your attention and your heart as read through the pages.
If you enjoy reading books with historical content, I highly recommend The Book of Negroes.

I have home insurance .... Or do I?!

This video is a friendly reminder to new home owners and current home owners on the difference between Insurance coverage they may carry. It focuses on strata properties and the two types of coverage you should carry on your home and gives an explanation on the difference between the two coverage's.  I am not a licensed insurance provider and hope that after watching the video you will contact your local provider with any questions or concerns.
